This talk moves past the hype to show how AI is already being used on real projects to detect schedule and cost risk earlier, improve safety through use cases such as missing PPE and unsafe proximity detection, surface scope gaps hidden in RFIs and submittals, and reduce claims exposure through earlier insight. Designed for government owners, engineering firms providing construction management, and contractors, the session focuses on practical, responsible applications of AI that improve decision-making, reduce surprises, and help leaders manage risk before it becomes unavoidable.Our speaker is Pooja Jain, Founder and CEO of Innov8 Consulting, a strategic advisory firm focused on AI and digital transformation in the built environment.This will be a hybrid event. There are two options to attend: in person at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor (Bangor Plaza; Alask, Nevada, Jackson Rooms) or virtually via MS Teams.In personNo cost, just bring your own lunch. Limited to the first 20 SAME Members outside of the Navy/NAVFAC NW.For those who don't have access to the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, please email jeremy.m.pung.mil@us.navy.mil and meet at the Main Gate Visitor Control Center parking lot at 10:40 AM PT--a Navy van will shuttle attendees to the venue.Registration for in-person attendance will close on 20 February.Virtual: A MS Teams invitation will be provided to all registrants by 23 February to allow virtual attendance to the presentation.
