North Woods Nature Book Club

Join a community of readers discussing books about nature and the environment at Silver Bay Public Library!

Discussions are every other month on the 4th Thursday at 6:00pm, and are a hybrid event (join by Zoom or in person). Please contact the library at 218-226-4331 to join the book club email list.

The book for the September 25, 2025 discussion will be "Under a White Sky: the Nature of the Future" by Elizabeth Kolbert.

Previously discussed books include: “Wilderness Days” by Sigurd F. Olson, “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer, “A Sand County Almanac” by Aldo Leopold, “The Seed Keeper” by Diane Wilson, and “An Immense World” by Ed Yong.

North Woods Nature Book Club is formerly the Friends of Tettegouche State Park Nature Book Club.
