Our sweet friend Kali Smart was in a horrible accident on Friday, July 25th. She’s currently in the ICU at Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas, fighting with every ounce of strength she has.
In this unimaginable tragedy, Kali lost her husband, Hunter Smart, along with three of her close family members: Melissa Smart, Otis Smart, and Terry Smart. So much of her world was taken in an instant.
Kali has always been the kind of person who lights up a room. She is beyond kind, genuine, caring, goofy, and full of heart. Now she’s facing a long and painful road to healing, surrounded by grief and uncertainty. We want to show up for her the way she has always shown up for others.
This benefit + the GoFundMe is to help cover Kali’s medical expenses, travel costs for her loved ones, and provide support through the long journey ahead. That includes physical healing, emotional care, and financial assistance. If you’re able to give anything at all, please know how deeply appreciated it is.
