Yelbong Canyon Trek - For nature enthusiasts (Ex NJP)
Activities include Village Walks, Camping, Canyon trek, River bed Walks, Zip line and Rappelling
The Tour is ex NJP Station. We will pick you up from NJP at 9am on Sept 24 and drop you back at NJP at 1pm on Sept 27.

2 nights stay at Yelbong Homestay +1 night stay at Camp site beside river Ramit.
Yelbong. Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this quaint destination offers a unique blend of tranquillity, adventure, and cultural richness. For adventure seekers, Yelbong offers a plethora of trekking opportunities that promise to awaken your inner explorer. The Yelbong trek not only tests your physical endurance but also rewards you with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscapes. We are introducing Zip line and Rappelling (at additional cost) in this trip.
TRANSPORTATION:
Reserved vehicle (NON AC) :
1) From NJP to Yelbong Home stay
2) From Yelbong Homestay to NJP
ACCOMMODATION :
1) 2 Four bed rooms in Yelbong Homestay with attached bath with WC. Geysers available. Non AC Rooms.
2) Tents on double occupancy at Campsite (beside Ramit river). Accommodation on double occupancy in tent for one night. No attached toilets. Infact two temporary western toilets with running water will be available for all guests to use. No electricity available in tents.
FOOD PLAN : Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. From September 24 breakfast to breakfast on September 27 is included in our food plan. Fixed food as available.

1) All transfers as mentioned by Car

4) Guide charges, Equipment charges only for the Yelbong Canyon trek (For Zip line and Rappelling additional cost)
EXCLUSIONS:
1) Any beverages, mineral water, soft drinks or any food consumed outside our package
2) Any additional usage of vehicle or any other mode of transport other than what is included in package.
3) Porter charges
4) Any gear or anything you need to hire in addition to what we provide for the trek
5) Barbecue and bon fire charges
ITINERARY (Subject to change depending on weather conditions) :
Day 1 : Check in at Yelbong Homestay. After lunch, explore the village. Dinner and overnight stay at Yelbong.
Day 2 : After breakfast, proceed from Yelbong Homestay to Camp site beside Ramit River. A trek of approximately 90 minutes from Yelbong Homestay. Check into Camps. After lunch, those who are interested may proceed for Zip line and Rappelling. Others can walk down the river bed to Rainbow Waterfalls. Evening snacks along the riverside. Enjoy a Campfire at the riverside. Dinner & overnight stay at tents.
Day 3 : After breakfast, proceed for Yelbong River Canyon trek. About 4 hrs. Return to Camps for Lunch. Trek back to Yelbong Homestay. Evening tea snacks, dinner and overnight stay at Yelbong Homestay.
Day 4 : After breakfast and some leisure time check out for NJP by 10am.
IMPORTANT :
1) This is purely a trip for those who are interested in nature, adventure, trekking and hiking. As such guests are expected to cooperate with all group members.
2) There are some simple gears, boots and medicines to be carried, which will be notified to you well in advance.
3) We will guide you with some simple excercises to be done atleast for 4 months in preparation.
4) The guests signing up are expected to be of sound health and we will not be responsible for any untoward incidents.
5) If any guest changes any plan and cannot be a part of the group itinerary, all costs incurred additionally for the guest till he/she returns home will have to be paid in advance on spot to us.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
1) 50% will be deducted for cancellations at any time before 120 days of the tour.
2) 100% will be deducted for cancellations at any time between 0 to 119 days of the day of tour.
3) No refunds will be made for any cancellation of the tour or part of the tour for any weather, road blockage or political disturbances.
4) No refunds will be made if any guest cancels a part of the tour on reaching.
CHARGES:
All inclusive @ Rs 12,750/- per head on quadruple sharing
PAYMENT TERMS :
1) 50% on booking
2) Balance 50% before 120 days of the date of journey

1) This is a village stay for adventure where locals are involved. As such guests are requested to cooperate and accept whatever best they can provide. We have no control on that.
2) Electricity in hills may be disrupted because of rains. We are not liable for that.
3) We are not responsible for the health conditions of guests joining on their free will. All guests are expected to read our programme details and understand before signing up. For any clarifications you need, we are just a phone call away.
