There will have some camping areas accessible for free to all our Alternative Guests . You can bring your tent or hammock and install your camp on the determinated zones .

🛖🌴🛖 HUTS:
Because the island is remote and very limitated in accomodations and because we want to welcome you as comfortable it's possible, we can build you some temporary huts ⚒️🛖
It will be a basic cute bamboo huts with bed for 2 people, or 3 thin people 😆
You can also let your valuable stuffs in it because their will be a locker .
We strongly recommend you to book it early because the capacity will be very small 20-25units and we will stop the bookings early , to have time to build all the structures .
Price will be 255$ for 7 days (from 18 - 25th February/Tax included )

Kactus Koh Ta Kiev is a guesthouse friend and partner of The Alternative Festival 2026 , it's 300 meters from the main stages on the sunset side of the island .
There will have some bed in dorms, tents and bungalow to rent .

FAQ - The Alternative Festival 2026 Edition in Koh Ta Kiev, Cambodia:
Hidden between the Jungle and the Beaches on the small remote Island of Koh Ta Kiev, The Alternative Festival will offer you a unique non commercial Experience of Electronic Music, Arts, and untouched Nature.
To help you prepare for this unforgettable Adventure, here’s a collection of informations you need to know:
🛥️ -> 🏝️ How do I get to Ream and then to the Island ?
Ream is your starting point for the departure of the Festival . the 2 ways will cost $ and you can buy your 5icke5 directly at the pier . There will be 3-4 departure a day.
You can get to Ream from various Location
From Siem Reap:🚍🚐
Buses & Minivans offer a direct connection to Sihanoukville, where you can continue to Ream by Taxi or Tuk-Tuk.
From Phnom Penh:🚌🚗
Regular Buses & Minivans connect the capital city to Sihanoukville. For more convenience, private Taxis are also an Option we recommend Ridesharing.
From Kampot
Regular Buses & Minivans connect the capital city to Sihanoukville. For more convenience, private Taxis are also an Option we recommend Ridesharing.

💸 2. Where is the nearest ATM ?
The last ATM is located at Sihanoukville Airport on the way to Ream. Don’t forget to bring enough cash for your entire stay, as there are no withdrawal options on the Island. Everything on the festival grounds operates on a cash-only basis
Due to unstable internet connection, apps or credit cards can not be processed.

⛺⛺4. Is there space for Camping ?
Yes! the Festival Ticket includes the Camping from the 19/02 to 24/02
that means 5 Nights are included with your Ticket.
The lush, grassy Camping Area is perfect for those who enjoy sleeping under the Stars.
🏕️5. When does the Campsite open/close ?
The Camping for the Festival will be open from the morning of February 19thh and will close on February 24th at 12 AM.
🥣🥦🍹🥂6. What about Food & Drinks ?
The Last Point Guesthouse and Kactus Eco-Lodge Resort will offer delicious Meals & Snacks throughout the Festival.
The Alternative Bar will serve you refreshing cold Drinks to keep everyone well hydrated.
🛒7. Are there Shops or Lockers on the Island ?
The Galaxy Store, will provide you with the most Basic stuffs. No local shops are available on the Island, so please bring all nessesary Items to make your Life more comfortable on this secluded Island, don't forget enough Cash.
There are also no Lockers avaible from the Festival Venue, please take the responsibility for your Personal belongings.
But there are Options together with the Guesthouse & Resort on the Island.

🛜📶8. Lets talk Internet & Phone reception on the Island !
We are on a secluded Island accordingly the GSM - Signal can be weak at some parts of the Island.
On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 6. So you can expect sometimes delays and non responsiveness.
We tested this with a SMART SIM-Card.
🎒9. What should I bring ?
Don’t leave Home without Sleeping Bag, Swim Clothing(!), Powerbanks, Hammock/Pillow, Mosquito Net/Repelent, Shades, Sunscreen, Biodegradeble Soap & Shampoo and reusable Water bottles.
We encourage you to reduce Waste by bringing Pocket Ashtrays and taking the Trash you bring back with you to the Main Land.
🏥10. Will there be Medical support ?
Only basic medical support will be available at the site.
There is a fastboat for urgent medevac to the next hospital on mainland
Best to bring a small first aid kit for minor injuries like small cuts, sunburn, insect bites.
🏝️🏝️11. Sustainability on the Island !!!
Koh Ta Kiev is a pristine Island Paradise, and we want to keep it that way. Please be mindful & leave no trash, just your footprints. Take the Trash you bring with you when you leave the Island, use reusable bottles, reusable cups will be provided on entering the festival grounds,
and please dispose of Cigarette Butts responsibly.
🌅🌞12. Sunrise & Sunset Magic
This island offers Sunrise & Sunset Beaches. The Mainfloor will be on the Sunrise side, the Suntset can be observed at the Kactus Eco-Lodge Resort on the other side of the Island. Enjoy both Solar Events at one Location.
