Meeting Point: Ħaġar Qim ? Time: 9:00am sharp We’ll set off from the majestic prehistoric temples of Ħaġar Qim, following breathtaking cliff-top trails overlooking the deep blue Mediterranean. Our route will take us down towards Wied iż-Żurrieq, with its dramatic views and fresh sea breeze, then onwards to the beautiful area known as In-Niffied — a hidden stretch of rugged coastline that truly showcases Malta’s wild side. From there, we continue towards the crystal-clear waters of Għar Lapsi, the perfect spot for a short break to soak in the views and recharge. On our way back, we’ll pass by the impressive Mnajdra Temples, another UNESCO World Heritage site standing proudly above the sea, before completing our circular route back to our cars at Ħaġar Qim. ? Expect: • Stunning cliff and sea views • Fresh coastal air • A mix of rocky paths and countryside trails • Great company and positive vibes ? Distance: (approx. 8–10km) ⚡ Level: Moderate (some uneven terrain and inclines) ? Bring comfortable trekking shoes, water (at least 2L), snacks, and sun protection. ? Please be punctual so we can start together at 9:00am. Let’s explore Malta’s south coast the best way possible — on foot, surrounded by nature and history! If you’ve never joined us before, you’re more than welcome! All our Sunday walking events are always free of charge, and anyone who is able to walk can join. No experience needed — just come along and enjoy the walk. As always, the pace will be relaxed and social — perfect for catching up, meeting new people, and enjoying Malta’s countryside at its best.
