Send Silence Packing - End the Silence Around Mental Health

Montcalm Community College, Montcalm Care Network, and Corewell Health will be partnering to bring Send Silence Packing by Active Minds to our community. On Wednesday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., visit the sidewalks near the Donald C. Burns Administration Building on the Sidney campus to view this powerful exhibition. Send Silence Packing travels the country to end the silence that surrounds mental health and suicide and connect visitors with resources for support and action. The main portion of the exhibit has 100 backpacks on display, each featuring personal stories of loss or hope related to suicide. Alongside the backpacks/Story Labyrinth, there will also be a Resource Tent, Hope Wall, Share Your Story Booth, A.S.K. and Behind the Backpacks experiences.
