- **Event Description**: Studio Theatre Worcester returns with their first musical since 2023: Superhero by Tony-award winning writer John Logan and the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Tom Kitt.

Superhero tells the story of a mother and son grappling with a devastating loss and the mysterious stranger who helps them on their journey. Before we can save the world, we have to save each other. From the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer of Next to Normal and the Tony Award-winning writer of Red comes a deeply human new musical about a fractured family, the mysterious stranger in apartment 4-B, and the unexpected hero who just might save the day. 

Superhero is directed by John Wayland Somers, with Music Direction by Kris Layton, and stars Christina Pierro-Biggins, Elliot Cetinski, Todd Vickstrom, Erica Shields, Erik Johnsen, Scott Salley, Alyssa Morales, and Casey Williamson.

NOTE: We will have a special pre-show presentation of our Boston Theatre Marathon selection, Soothsay, before our June 27th performance of Superhero. 

Performances for this production will be in the Flanagan Theatre at Southgate at Shrewsbury (30 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).

Tickets are $35 for General Admission, $10 for Students, and $5 for MassWIC/ConnectorCare.
