Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, the workshop balances clear guidance with creative freedom. Your day will begin with a warm welcome and a chance to explore the beautiful designs. Next, you will have a detailed demonstration of block printing techniques and equipment to ensure you are ready. 

You will have plenty of practise time before moving onto printing stationery items such as cards and tags before selecting your fabric items. Anna will be on hand to help and advise on patterns, colours and designs before helping you heat set your items. 

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with finished hand-printed textiles and a deeper understanding of Indian block printing, its techniques, and its timeless appeal.

What's included:

 Practice fabric

 A selection of small fabric item (such as zip pencil case, zip pouch or small drawstring bag)

 A selection of large fabric item (such as cushion cover, a large drawstring bag, scarf, set of 4 napkins, tote bag or tea towel)

Additional items can be purchased if available.

Refreshments are included in the ticket price as well as all workshop materials. Aprons provided
