The Nutcracker, a Swamp Tail Release Party

Join Emily Welch to celebrate the release of her brand new children's book, The Nutcracker, a Swamp Tail. Fans of this classic holiday ballet will enjoy the reimagined Southern setting and the unique cast of critters that populate the famous tale.�

Books will be available for purchase and signing or you can bring your pre-ordered book.

Cajun Santa will be there for pictures along with a special guest ballerina from the upcoming local Nutcracker performance by the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet and live Cajun music from the Caddo Parish Schools Strings Program.

Sweets, treats, stickers, crafts and holiday fun will be available too! Come pass a good timeand celebrate this new cajun Christmas classic.
