Shreveport Tourist Race - Bike Scavenger Hunt

Back for it's 5th year, the Shreveport Tourist Race is a scavenger hunt event where participants are invited to either Race or Ride a route visiting five locations around town. The twist? Participants do not know the locations until 5 minutes before it starts and can visit them in any order! At each location is a book, where participants rip out the page that corresponds with their rider number (provided at registration). Though you can visit the locations in any order, the route is ~10 miles in total all located in town along bike friendly streets.

Racers will start together with trophies for the Top 3 finishers. After the Racers take off, the Riders can start their tour of Shreveport. All riders who visit all 5 locations and provide their pages at the finish are entered into a raffle for prizes provided by the community!

12pm - 1pm: Registration at Great Raft Brewing (day of registration only) - FREE Event!
1:05pm: Rider information announcements, opening of manifests (route card), and countdown to race start
1:10pm - 3:30pm: Ride around town to the locations!
3:30pm: Trophy presentation and Raffle drawings for all finishers

NOTE:
*This is a free event!
*Event begins and ends at Great Raft Brewing which has food options as well as alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages - all ages.
*This event is at your own risk and there are no street closures - all riders are required to sign a liability waiver to register
*Riders must obey all traffic rules and proper safety equipment and cycling ability is highly recommended
