If you love mushrooms and are interested in broadening your knowledge of holistic wellness, this is Your Class!
Join one our beloved teachers, Lee Ann Monat of LionArt Creations, as she partners with Lacey Suiter, owner of Moonlight Harvest, for this brand new, fun and informative class!
“Functional mushrooms” are mushrooms that provide health benefits and support specific body functions beyond their basic nutritional value.
We’ll discuss different types of functional mushrooms, such as Oyster, Lion's Mane, Reishi, and Turkey Tail, explore how they benefit our health, including our cognitive and immune functions, and discuss how to incorporate them into our daily lives.
Class will begin with grounding a meditation and we’ll enjoy a cooking demonstration with delicious samples for the class to share!
As usual with Lee Ann’s classes, tea will be served, and each student will receive handouts for the class.
About your teachers:
Lacey Suiter of Moonlight Harvest grows mushrooms locally and creates amazing mushroom tinctures, craft facial soap, infused vinegars & honeys, and umami-rich seasonings — all from scratch. She sells her products in various local shops and markets.
Lee Ann Monat of LionArt Creations is an herbalist, culinary artist, Reiki Master and certified holistic health coach specializing in Intuitive Wellness Education and Products.
