- **Event Description**: Get more wear from your garments by learning "simple" alterations and repair techniques. In this class you will learn how to alter hems and waistlines to create a fitted garment. Bring 2 or 3 of your favorite wardrobe pieces to alter in class, along with scissors, sewing machine and power cord in good working order. Sewing experience and an operational sewing machine are required for this class. Please make sure your machine will sew apparel knit, woven, and bulky fabrics. A personal supply tool pack specific to altering seams will be provided by the instructor. This class is not open to students under the age of 18.
