Let me tell you a secret — I didn’t become a chef because I love all the hard work in the kitchen... I became a chef because I love eating! 🍜❤️

Hungry Monkey started from my passion for sharing good food, but behind the scenes, the real chef in our family has always been my husband, Daywa. After years of supporting me from the sidelines, he’s now officially stepping into the kitchen.

A former U.S. Navy serviceman turned professional chef, Daywa trained in some of the top kitchens in the world and brings serious skill, heart, and soul to every dish. He’s the kind of chef who lives to cook — and he’s here to let me finally rest and just enjoy the food (the way I love to 😉).

Together, we’re building something special. Hungry Monkey is now a true family story — of love, flavour, and fresh energy. With our new evening events and soulful food, we can’t wait to welcome you back to our table.
