Alongside a ton of headline dates across the U.S., and isolated appearances overseas, Matthew Curry has had the honor of touring with the Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton, Journey, Don Felder (of the Eagles), and others. Steve Miller articulated his thoughts about the left handed guitar slinger to Ultimate Classic Rock offering, "..,wonderful guitar player [and] great songwriter in the Stevie Ray Vaughan area of virtuosity and originality."  While Peter Frampton shared to 96.5 The Fox, "... someone asked me in an interview today if I thought there could be anymore guitar heroes. Well, hell yes of course and Matthew is one who will prove that to be true.”

Born and raised in Bloomington Illinois, Curry began playing guitar at the age of four, playing live performances at the age of eight and by eleven, was fronting his own band and beginning his songwriting career. His first album “If I Don’t Got You” was released in 2012 followed by “Electric Religion” (2014), “Shine On” (2016), and “Open Road” (2019). In 2015,

Curry made his debut on the big screen with his roll as the late Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd in “Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser”, acting alongside comedy legend, David Spade. Throughout his adult life, Curry has toured and released music consistently amazing audiences all over the world with his fiery guitar playing and soulful vocals. Top 40 Charts says, “Curry has been creating a serious buzz the past few years. This rising star from the Heartland of Normal, IL. has already seen rock star-like standing ovations at key festivals both in the U.S. and abroad, and the lines for his autograph at the merchandise booths are longer than most headliners.” Patrick Simmons of the Doobie Brothers says, “The audience loved his well crafted songs, soaring guitar solos, and soulful singing.
