Cameron Hermann is currently a member of Scouting America with Life rank. He is working towards his way towards Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project he has built a display for the Fort Devens Museum which illustrates the correct way to fold an American Flag as well as other items of etiquette such as display and disposal.

About his project, Cameron says: "From a young age I have been interested in history, particularly the Great War and World War II. I also have a particular interest in honoring and respecting the past, both the good and the bad. To me, the American flag represents the nation as a whole and represents all the men and women who have given their lives in the defense of our nation and the freedoms that we share."

Join us on Saturday as Cameron unveils his display and demonstrates how to properly fold the American flag.


Admission to the museum and the program is free with donations appreciated.


The Fort Devens Museum is located on the 3rd floor of 94 Jackson Road, Devens, MA with universal accessibility. The museum is open 10 to 3 on June 20th.
