Jungle Jane’s Plant Shop is excited to bring you our very first workshop! Create your own closed ecosystem on Saturday, May 23rd at Yoder’s Red Barn Shoppes in Shipshewana, IN.

This event will be held in the commons area, with doors opening at approximately 9AM. The workshop is expected to last 45–60 minutes.

Next Saturday marks the beginning of our monthly workshop series! Every month, we’ll feature a special aesthetically pleasing, Pinterest-worthy project centered around plants. We figured we’d start off easy with one of our most requested projects: an enclosed self-sustaining terrarium.

Choose from a variety of 2” ferns and assorted tropical plants, or upgrade to one of our newer, harder-to-find babies that just hit the shelves.

Guests will receive a choice of two terrarium styles:

•	Black framed enclosed glass house – 8¾” × 6” 
•	5” glass cylinder with a wood top 

Pricing is still TBD as we finish sourcing a few additional materials, but click “Interested” on this event to stay tuned for pricing and ticket information. We will only have 8–10 open seats available, so recruit your plant-loving friends now and be ready when tickets go live!

Workshop Experience:

1.	Pick your vessel 
2.	Choose your plants (3 for the house or 2 for the cylinder) 
3.	Lay down your decorative sand 
4.	Add your larger drainage rocks 
5.	Separate the layers with screen or fabric 
6.	Place your moss layer and mist with water 
7.	Add activated charcoal 
8.	Sprinkle in your soil layer 
9.	Arrange your plants, compact the soil, and level to your preference 
10.	Mist the plants and soil to clean off excess dirt 
11.	Decorate the final layer with the stone color that vibes with you 
12.	Add optional trinkets or fairy garden accessories for extra flair
