"Rudi's Pond" by Eve Bunting gently addresses the grief that comes when a friend dies and offers readers a sense of hope through creating connections and memorials. As part of the workshop each child will create their own homemade hummingbird feeder to attract these beautiful creatures to their home. Please RSVP to Bethany at bethanydmtf@gmail.com by April 24. Please include the following information: child's name and age, who the child is grieving, and the contact information of the caregiver who will be attending with the child. The program is free but is only open to the first 10 children who register. All families will go home with either a copy of the book we are reading or a similar book. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot!
