- **Event Description**: The annual Reading Rainbow event sponsored by the Shippensburg Kids Events Committee will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28th.  The event will take place at the Shippensburg Firefighters Activity Center, 33 West Orange Street from 8:15AM – 12:15PM.  Admission is FREE!

The first 200 children will receive a FREE book while supplies last.

There will be fun activities suitable for children in PreK through 5th grade.  Activities include special guest readers, water tattoos, live music, entertainment and more! 

All proceeds benefit the Shippensburg Elementary and Intermediate School​ Libraries.

Tentative Event Schedule:

Visit with special guests.

Books & other goodies for all ages will be available for purchase at the Scholastic Book Fair portion of the event.
