# Event Details

- **Event Name**: 🎶 Chris Belliveau FULL BAND chez Cielo – 20 novembre!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 20 Nov, 2026 at 07:00 pm (-04:00)

As part of the Folk & Blues Festival at Cielo, we’re welcoming Chris Belliveau in FULL BAND format on Friday, November 20! 🎸🔥

Chris draws his inspiration from Cajun music, country, and the blues of the 60s and 70s. In his songs, he tells personal stories or stories inspired by people he has met at home or on the road, often turning them into colourful, larger-than-life characters.

A musician since his teenage years, Chris spent many years working as a sideman alongside numerous Acadian artists. A former member of The Backyard Devils and Izzy and the Prohibition, he has also performed or recorded with Les Hay Babies, Caroline Savoie, Cédric Vieno, Dominique Dupuis, Daniel Léger, Raphaël Butler, and many others.

After years as a “side man,” he finally gave the songwriter within him the space to step forward. His self-titled debut album was released in 2022, followed by La rivière croche in 2024, which earned him a 2025 GAMIQ nomination in the Hors-Québec category.

His career has also taken him to stages near and far, including the show L’Acadie, un pays qui se raconte, performed more than 80 times in France. He was also a musician on Radio-Canada’s Méchante soirée for six years.

On November 20, he’s bringing the full band to the Hub for a night packed with groove, folk, blues, rock, and plenty of energy! 🔥
