- **Event Description**: Nuno felting is the process of making a new type of fabric by combining a loose weave fabric with wool fiber. Join fibre artist Sarah for this new workshop. You will create a dramatic Winter Scene using lots of different wools, locks, fibres and threads from your own simplified images or photos.

During the morning session you will use the supplies to design and felt your piece. After a break for lunch, you will be taught how to embellish your work using machine free motion embroidery.

Your completed work will measure approximately 30 x 40cm.

This is a fantastic workshop for people keen to learn nuno felting skills and develop their ideas and techniques in new and exciting ways.

If you have your own sewing machine, we encourage you to bring this along to the session, however we do have machines available to use in the workshop should you require it. All other equipment and supplies will be provided.

Drink and snacks will be available during the day. Please bring a packed lunch (fridge/microwave available to use) or there are a number or options to purchase lunch locally. (ask on the day for details)
