We... are... back! For years, Team Spiridon rode a luxurious bus down to the Shiner Half Marathon/10K/5K. Now, we're excited to join up with ABW Run Club to make it happen again.
We need to get pretty solid commitments rolling. If you are in, say you're going. Don't 132 "interested" and 25 actually want to go.
Here's how it'll work:
- We have a 56-passenger coach reserved. Bathroom. Music (Which I'm in charge of. Period.)
- We need to fill it with 40 people.
- $45 a person. All money is due by EOD Friday, October 24. This includes your seat, driver gratuity, and access to the ridiculous volume of community beer and snacks we'll have.
- If we don't have the bus fully or paid for by 10/24, any payments received will be returned, but we'll have to cancel the bus.
- Leave at 0600 from OG ABW. Arrive Shiner 0730.
- Half marathon is at 0800, 10K at 0830, 5K at 0845
- Depart Shiner 1330 (1:30pm)

RULES!
- Austin Beerworks family rules apply: Don't be asshole. Don't shame your family (we are family, that day).
- Bringing snacks and beer is welcome and encouraged... but...
- NO AB/Inbev or Miller-Coors products, and...
- Karbach beer will get you outright ejected from the bus, once it reaches highway speeds.
I'll look into discounts for us. Team Spiridon also always volunteered a bit, and this year, there should be an Austin packet pickup. There maaaay be an opportunity to get a more discounted entry if you commit some time. We'll see.
