視覺編序工作坊 Visual Sequencing Workshop: Adobe Illustrator & Indesign

正在創作藝術家書籍或獨立刊物的你，是否正在思考：

• 排版操作上遇到困難，可以找誰？

是次工作坊邀請到兩位嘉賓，教授如何利用這兩種軟件為書籍進行視覺編序。他們將分享如何調整影像順序、頁面留白與圖像比例，讓視覺語言有更明確的節奏與韻律，在頁面之間建立關係、建構敘事：

• 香港攝影愛好者周生——從創作與自資出版的角度，分享如何以軟件輔助構思與製作，以及個人獨立出版的實戰經驗。
• 平面設計師張少寶——介紹 Adobe Illustrator 與 InDesign 的基本應用，並從設計角度分享紙頁上的視覺細節。

Thinking about making an artist’s book or publication? Ever wondered—

• My book, my design?
• Which software works better for typesetting—Adobe Illustrator or InDesign?
• Who can I turn to when technical problems arise?
• Can mastering the tools be the first step towards self-publishing?

This workshop brings together two guest speakers to explore how Illustrator and InDesign can be used for visual sequencing in creating an artist's book. They will share practical tips on arranging images, managing page rhythm and balance, and creating visual relationships that build a clear narrative across your pages.

• ‘Hong Kong snapper’ Chow San will discuss his creative journey and experience in self-publishing, offering insights on how software can support artistic concepts and DIY production.
• Graphic designer Poe Cheung will introduce the basics of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, along with insights on how visual details on paper can elevate the design experience.

周生 Chow San

攝影愛好者 Snapper

香港攝影愛好者周生自2018年起自費出版了8本書，包括《旅行》、《宜家動物關注祖》、《2019年醫學研究報告》和《日本寫真集1.15：初到日本，請不要去原宿，因為那裡有太多野東西可買》。他的攝影書《No Teacher But I Can Take Photos》於2020年由東京的ZenFoto Gallery出版。

Hong Kong photography enthusiast Chow San has self-published 8 books since 2018, including 'Travel', 'IKEA Animals Pay Attention to Ancestors', 'Medical Research Report 2019' and 'Japanese Photos Chapter 1.15: New to Japan, please do not go Harajuku, because there are too many wild things to buy.' His photobook 'No Teacher But I Can Take Photos' was published by Zen Foto Gallery in 2020.

張少寶 Poe Cheung

平面設計師 Graphic Designer

畢業於香港理工大學設計學院傳意設計（榮譽）文學士學位。2018年，她榮獲香港青年設計才俊獎，同年前往法國及柏林進修和工作。2021年，她與 Alan Fan 共同創辦 Studio Nous，專注於書籍、展覽、主視覺及包裝設計。該工作室曾獲得亞洲最具影響力設計大獎、紐約藝術指導協會年度獎、東京字體指導具樂部 TDC 年度獎等多項殊榮。2024年，她成為紐約藝術指導協會 ADC Young Guns 22 的得主。2025年，開始獨立發展，成立 Poetic University，發表視覺創作及音樂作品。

Cheung hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Communication Design from the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 2018, she received the Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award and further her studies and work in France and Berlin. Poe also co-founded Studio Nous with Alan Fan in 2021, focusing on book, exhibition, key visual, and packaging design. The studio has received multiple accolades, including the Asia’s Most Influential Design Awards, the Art Directors Club (ADC) Annual Awards in New York, and the Tokyo Type Directors Club (TDC) Annual Awards. In 2024, Poe was named a winner of ADC Young Guns 22 in 2021. This year, Cheung began working independently, founding Poetic University to present visual and music works.
