- **Event Description**: LASC has sadly lost two much loved coaches to Motor Neuron Disease. 
In 2020 our former Head Coach, Jim Robertson, sadly lost his short battle with MND and this year, Calum Scott, another dedicated and greatly missed member of our coaching team, was taken too soon with the disease.
With that in mind, the committee has been considering how we can best honour their memory, and we feel it is important to support the ongoing fight to find a cure while also helping our local MND services.
To do this, we are going to a walk from Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, where Calum worked as a firefighter, to Lerwick on the Saturday 22nd August to try and raise funds for MND Scotland and our local MND support service.
Our hope is that the whole club, and the wider community, will get involved and join us in this walk.  Participants are welcome to walk the full route or just part of it, whatever suits everyone.  Our aim is to make sure we have groups walking every section of the route.
