Special Event for Texas Recycles Day! 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, the City of Sherman and Keep Sherman Beautiful will accept latex paint at the city’s Citizen Drop-Off Center, 811 South East Street. This is a FREE event to get that liquid latex paint out of your garage! Limit 10 gallons per person. 𝑵𝑶 𝑶𝑰𝑳-𝑩𝑨𝑺𝑬𝑫 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒅. Just follow the signs to Paint Recycling.
So gather up your leftover latex paint, and take advantage of this special opportunity. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓!

The Citizen Drop-Off Center also accepts certain materials year-round at no charge:
• plastics labeled #1 (water and soda bottles) or #2 (opaque like milk jugs, detergent bottles, and juice bottles)
• aluminum cans, tin cans
• clean (non-food, not wet) paper and cardboard
• electronics
These materials can be brought in every Tuesday and Thursday from Noon-5 p.m., and Saturday from 10-3, including on November 15. Please lightly rinse cans and bottles, and remove lids and labels. Containers are labeled for each material – just drop them in the correct recycling bin.
