The CCVC is hosting a solo blind draw on Saturday, August 2 in conjunction with Sherman Days at the sand courts behind the Cooler Cafe in Sherman, NY.
You will sign up as an individual and be assigned (at random) to a team of 5 or 6. All participants can hit, block, etc. The number of men and women on each team will be determined based on signups. We will have two levels of play. When signing up to play, please provide your PREFERRED level of play. Both nets will be at co-ed height.
The levels are Community/Beginner/Low Rec (Lower) and Low Intermediate and above (Upper).
We will finalize the two divisions based on the signups. IF we place you in a division that is different than what you signed up for, we will communicate this with you and you can decide if you still wish to play.
Check-in begins at 12:30 PM with play beginning promptly by 1:00 PM. Format will be timed games of 12 minutes. The number of teams who make playoffs, the number of matches for playoffs, as well as single/double elimination, will be determined day of depending on the number of teams and what time pool play is finished.
Please note that unlike other tournaments, FOOD WILL NOT BE PROVIDED as there will be many food options in and around Sherman Days. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a chair, bug spray, and a sunshade (if you wish).
You will be asked to sign a waiver prior to playing if this is your first tournament with us in 2025. Please note that the CCVC is not liable for the actions of any guests and spectators.

This will show up as a donation instead of a payment due to our 501(c)3 status. Several people have had issues with Venmo processing lately. Tech support noted that you must have the most up to date version of Venmo to ensure this payment processes.
Please note that refunds will not be provided if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Please let us know as soon is possible if you must cancel.
