"Discovery" airplane rides available at extra cost and may be purchased on site throughout the 59th Annual Fly-In Breakfast.

"Discovery Flights" are half-hour introductory flight lessons. They are designed for aviation enthusiasts to experience the thrill of flying a small aircraft, whether you are considering a private pilot's license or just completing a bucket-list adventure. The flights are being offered by the Great Lakes Flight Center using Cessna 152s (seating two people) and Cessnas 172s (seating four.)

In each plane, the plot/instructor occupies one seat. Thus, the Cessna 172 has room for three guests, one of whom gets to sit next to the pilot (and operate controls, if desired, under the pilot's guidance.) Up to two additional guests can sit in the second row. The Cessna 152 has room for just one guest. Discovery Flight prices will be approximately $185 for the Cessna 172 and $150 for the Cessna152. Prices are per ride, not passenger and are subject to change.
