Under the Same Stars featuring Miles from Home

Under the Same Stars returns for its second year in April. For those unfamiliar, this is a regional version of the CEO sleepout with CEO’s/ business owners/ VIP’s from the GV area. This is a fantastic networking event as well as raising funds for those who need it most.
Exercises and tasks on the night will simulate difficulties faced by young people experiencing homelessness. Funds to stay 100% local. The aims include increasing local leaders understanding of issues faced by young people in this position as well as it being a networking opportunity with a difference.

This event will also incorporate “Miles from Home”, a community running event that will involve running the block around Deakin Reserve – Nixon St, Skene St, Knight St and Harold St. Some of these runners are looking to run 24 hours straight.
This event will invite possibly 100 or more runners to participate in this community initiative to raise funds and awareness for this incredibly important issue of youth homelessness in Greater Shepparton.
