- **Event Description**: Join us for our first contra dance of the season with the incredible Janine Smith calling and teaching a wonderful assortment of contras and squares to the music of the Bone Shakers… internationally recognized for her skills Janine’s calling always brings fun to the dance hall for new and experienced dancers alike. The tunes will be provided by the Bone Shakers, featuring Joe DeZarn and Michelle Pellatt on fiddle and Gina Faber on guitar, mandolin and a whole lot more.

New dancers and rusty ones are encouraged to be here promptly, the dance starts at 7:30, and we start the evening with simpler dances to review the basics and flow seamlessly into our evening dance. Dancers of all abilities are welcome, no partner is necessary.

Location: War Memorial Building at the corner of German and King Street in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
Admission: $15 nonmembers, $12 members, $5 dancing kids under 12. Beginner/refresher lesson at 7:30; potluck snacks at the break.
