INDIGENOUS
Indigenous is an American blues rock band that gained prominence in the late 1990s. The band was formed by siblings Mato Nanji, Pte, and Wanbdi, along with their cousin Horse. Their music is influenced by blues legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Carlos Santana. The band has headlined tours and has shared the stage with various artists, including B.B. King and Bonnie Raitt. Indigenous has been recognized for its contributions to Native American music and has received several awards, including three Native American Music Awards for their debut album. The band's music is characterized by its blues-rock sound and the family's tight-knit dynamics.
