Polite Greetings Mini Lab
Tired of jumping, over-excitement, or chaotic hellos when guests arrive or meeting people in public?
The Polite Greetings Mini Lab is a focused, hands-on single session designed to help dogs practice calm, appropriate greetings in real-life situations. We’ll work through skills that help dogs stay grounded and successful around people, using positive, practical training methods.
In this mini lab, we’ll focus on:
• Calm greetings with people
• Reducing jumping and over-arousal
• Using “place” or default behaviors during arrivals
• Teaching dogs how to wait to be invited
• Supporting dogs through excitement in a controlled way
This session is ideal for dogs who are friendly but need help keeping their excitement in check. Space is limited to keep the environment calm and productive.
