Join us for a hands-on canning class where we will learn how to water bath pears using time honored, old world preservation methods.

This class will be taught by Stephanie Oberholtzer, a local homesteader and experienced teacher who has been living the homesteading lifestyle for many years. Stephanie has a wonderful gift for making traditional skills approachable and easy to understand, and she will guide participants step by step through the entire canning process.

This is a practical, empowering class designed to build confidence and food self reliance. What you learn here will stay with you for a lifetime and can be used to nourish your family and community for years to come.

Cost: $20
Please bring at least two clean quart canning jars with new lids and rings

Please arrive on time and ready to learn!
I will provide coffee, but please also bring a lunch as the class will end at 2 ?
