In the darkest night, we gather to drum up the light!

Join us for our annual Bardic Yule Fire, a magical overnight celebration marking the Winter Solstice—the moment of deepest darkness and the Sun's triumphant return. This is a time to weave hope, community, and light into the fabric of the longest night.

We embrace the ancient tradition: In the dark we gather to sing Winter songs, Wassail the Trees, share stories of hope and drum. We sing while the Sky lightens and the Sun appears.

Event Details:
When: Sundown (approx. 4:20 PM) on Friday, December 20th to Sunrise (approx. 7:56 AM) on Saturday, December 21st, 2025.

The Ritual: We begin setting the sacred fire at sunset around 4:20 PM. As the night deepens, we will share a potluck dinner, Wassail the trees with song, and tell stories of hope.

The Drumming: The drumming and singing to welcome the Sun will commence around 7:30 AM, culminating as the light breaks the horizon!

Nourishment: Bring a dish for the communal potluck dinner/snacks. Hot water for tea will be available all night, and we’ll celebrate the Sun’s return with a bite of breakfast casserole ready just after dawn.

Stay the Night: Come when you are able and stay as long as you like! We invite you to join our Solstice slumber party—bring your own tent, or find a cozy spot in the common temple tent set up for snoozing.

No money is needed to attend this event, however we DO want you to RSVP, please, so we know how many people to plan for. There you will also be given an opportunity to support Erosia by leaving us a love offering. Not required, but appreciated.
