The Chamber’s Awards Gala is the highest-profile business affair in Mason County and will be held on Friday, January 16 at the Skookum Creek Event Center at Little Creek Casino Resort. The fête honors individuals and businesses for their contributions to the Chamber and Mason County and the semi-formal event includes an elaborate dinner (with paired wine or mocktail service), installation of the board of trustees, and the announcement of the Chamber's annual award winners.
Congratulations to this year's award finalists! Peninsula Credit Union, Sierra Pacific Industries, and Superior Construction are recognized for driving local economic vitality as Business of the Year contenders. Flywheel & Beside the Gallery, House Flowers, and Mushroom Headz Tattoo highlight fresh creativity and early business success in the Rookie of the Year category. Boss of the Year finalists Charlie Allmendinger of Peninsula Credit Union, Melanie Bakala of State Farm Insurance, and Mark Ziegler of the City of Shelton are celebrated for strong leadership and supportive workplaces. Jordan Devaney, Tamra Ingwaldson, and Julie Rowan are honored for their service and dedication as Citizen of the Year finalists. The Nonprofit of the Year category features Great Bend Center for Music, Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group, and Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center, each uplifting the community through mission-driven impact.
For Chamber members and their guests, the cost is $250 per ticket; prospects and community members may purchase tickets for $300 each. A $25 discount per seat will be applied to all payments received on or before January 5, 2026.
