Support activities to remember the Battle of Long Tan.

On Saturday, our HARS Keynote Speaker Series will feature Glenn Horrocks from the AIAA Sydney Chapter who will share his remarkable search for Cessna 210 VH-MDX, an aircraft that vanished over the Barringtops in 1981 and has never been found. Glenn is a NSW Bush Search and Rescue Unit Deputy Commander, a Mechanical Engineer and holds a PHD in Fluid Mechanics. All welcome upstairs in the AAHOF area at 11am

The works on the John Travolta Boeing 707 is proceeding and it’s a great opportunity to see how it will all come together with the confirmed arrival of the US team on the 7th October, to help our members put it all back together. Make no mistake, this is a monumental engineering challenge, and one that will stand as an Australian Aviation Achievement even greater than had we been able to fly to Australia as originally anticipated.

Talking about another challenge, will be the arrival of the Qantas gifted Fokker F100 Jet VH-NPU from Perth WA at 11am Monday 17th August.
