- **Event Description**: This course is taught by a field expert in EMS. This course covers advanced EMS operations, Medical, Trauma, Airway, and Cardiology. This course also covers national, state, and local laws or code that applies to EMS. This course does permit someone to obtain their RN Exception through their Medical Director to run as an EMS clinician per their RN license, particularly at the ALS level. By the end, students will be eligible to write for the NREMT ALS exam. All course work starts on 8/20/26 online. In person labs will take place throughout the semester. Please bring your ACLS and PALS CPR card and the completed Health Evaluation to the online Orientation. RN2EMT is a prerequisite of this class.
