Doors open at 6pm with an acoustic New Orleans based performance by the duo of Louie and Theresa Green, Green Timbre.
They will play from 6-7pm in the foyer/ lounge of the Wortman Theater.
Also, there will be information tables for the Shelbyville/ Shelby County animal shelter. Shelby County Tourism will have an information table. Buck Rogers Jr will have merchandise and information table.
The show is in support of the animal shelter.

Mayor Furgeson will present a proclamation at 7:30pm in the main theater. The proclamation opens Shelbyville for Mardi Gras. Buck Rogers Jr and La Louisianne will begin preforming after the mayors presentation.

All ages are welcome. Costuming for Mardi Gras is welcome. Shelby County Players will have refreshments for sale. The event has lagniappe gift available. This is our 10th year for this fun event.e
