- **Event Description**: The Global Purple Angel Dementia campaign will be overseeing a WORLD FIRST with WORLD WALKS AGAINST DEMENTIA to bring awareness regarding the various types of dementia. This will be held for the first time all over the world on the first Sunday of September 2025 (September the 7th ) to ensure as many as possible worldwide do it on the same day. This is not about one organization but all of us across the world coming together to raise awareness about this awful disease.

We will have shirts available to purchase prior to the walk date so we can all wear purple ? which is the color of dementia awareness. This is not a fundraiser, but an awareness event. If you would like to donate to your favorite dementia organization, know that's appreciated!

We will begin at St. Luke's Lutheran Church and walk around the Heritage center, to main Street and back. Please join on the walk or to cheer the walkers on! We will have light refreshments after the walk.
