Handgun 1

Handgun 1 is an 8-hour foundational course designed to build safe, efficient, and repeatable handgun skills. Students will learn how to draw and fire from the holster, perform both emergency and tactical reloads, and diagnose and clear common handgun malfunctions.

This course bridges the gap between basic pistol operation and more advanced handgun training, focusing on safe weapon handling, consistency, and efficiency.

What You’ll Learn:
• Drawing and firing from the holster
• Emergency & tactical reloads
• Malfunction recognition and clearance
• Safe weapon handling & trigger discipline
• Efficient manipulation under pressure

Required Gear:
• Personal firearm
• Holster
• 3 magazines
• Magazine pouch or spare holster
• 5 snap caps / dummy rounds
• 250 rounds of ammunition
• Eye & ear protection (required)
