Close Quarters battle (CQB) 1 introduces students to the fundamentals of fighting in close quarters safely and effectively using a handgun inside the shoot house. This course combines dry fire instruction with simunition-on-target training to build safe movement, room awareness, and threat engagement skills.

Students will learn how to safely move indoors, properly assess rooms, and engage threats efficiently in confined environments.

What You’ll Learn:
• Weapon ready positions & trigger discipline
• Room entry, penetration, and scans
• Fields of fire & priority of threats
• Positive identification & threat recognition
• Verbal & non-verbal communication
• Use of cover, distance, and angles
• Single-room & multi-room movement
• High-light & low-light fundamentals
• 2- and 4-student house runs
• Simunition single-room entry drills

Handgun, holster, eye & ear protection
