- **Event Description**: 2026 SEASON!!! ??‍♂️??‍♀️This up coming season will kick off August 17th @ 6PM at Shelbina Lake!! Most practices will be Mondays and Thursdays 6pm. Some practices on Tuesdays due to holidays and after we have a Sunday afternoon meet! 
 
Meets will start the Saturday following Labor Day weekend! We will (usually) have meets for 3 weekends in a row. Either Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. Then break a weekend and have 3 more weekends of races. If you choose to move on to Regionals it usually is first Sunday in November in Kansas City. If you choose to go to Nationals it will be November 21 in Knoxville, TN or Lexington, KY!!

There will be two Columbia Meets. We normally travel to Mexico, Moberly, and Fulton.

‼️‼️Looking for runners that were born 2010-2012!!‼️‼️ 

❤️Year of birth:  

(2020, 2019, 2018) 6-8 year olds 
(2017- 2016) 9-10 year olds 
(2015-2014) 11-12 year olds 
(2013-2012) 13-14 year olds 

6-8 year olds will run 2K (1.24 miles) 
9-10 and 11-12 will run 3K (1.86 miles) 
13-14 year olds will run 4K (2.48 miles) 

?We will gradually work into running these distances. By the end of the season kids can easily run 4 miles at practice and not even realize it!! I make it fun and we always enjoy a treat after practice!!

??Money goes to supplies: jerseys, new tent, spray paint, after practice treats, regional fees. We also had extra money for prizes like metals for the mile challenge and fun gifts at our end of the year pizza party for all the runners
