VENUEThe Steamworks (109-111 Randall St, Highfield, Sheffield, S2 4SJ)✂️ WHAT IS SNIP?Snip is a relaxed collaging club aimed at adults who want to spend a few hours sitting, snipping and sticking together!We host our popular events in the bar area of The Steamworks venue, set up for all your collaging needs, wants and desires. We have a whole variety of stunning materials for you to get creative with (coloured / textured papers and cards, maps, travel brochures, vintage books / magazines, postcards, lifestyle / food / gardening / home decor magazines, wallpapers, comics, postal stamps, playing cards, sheet music, art prints etc).There will be 'Snip Tips' to guide you and our 'Lucky Snip' where you can help yourself to a small pack of random pre-cut images to inspire your next creation - we can't wait to see what you all get up to!Snip events are the ideal place for you to create items such as artwork to take home, personalised gifts for loved ones, greetings cards, mood / vision board content, to add to current collage projects you have on the go, or to build your junk journal for example. Our collaging sessions are entirely for you to use as a creative space - go wild!?️ TICKETS£5 per person (cash or card accepted at the entrance to our area).Entry will give you access to all our collaging materials, including the use of our scissors and glue sticks.We aren't able to hold table spaces unfortunately, however, if you'd like to discuss a possible group booking - we'd love to chat about this, just drop us a message first before buying tickets.Snip Club is for ages 18+. This is to ensure general health & safety and because the nature of some of our materials isn't suitable for younger Snippers.? SNIP VIBESWe kindly ask that everyone keeps the friendly vibe of Snip flowing along nicely by returning scissors / glue sticks / materials back to their spots, and by leaving tables clear ready for the next Snippers to use. We also ask all Snippers to take care with each other, whether this means sharing materials or sharing table space, we want everyone to enjoy their time at our events.⚠️ VINTAGE MATERIALSSnip uses genuine vintage books and magazines which may feature material showing mistreatment or stereotypes of people / animals / cultures. We do not tolerate this kind of material being used or shared, and therefore we try our best to remove anything of this nature prior to our events. We ask our Snippers to let us know as soon as possible if they notice any materials featuring content like this so we can deal with it immediately. If we work together, everyone can continue to feel truly welcomed and included at our events.⭐FACILITIESSnip will be set up within a ground floor level, fully accessible section of The Steamworks venue.
