Dances of Universal Peace in Sheffield
Through the powerful practice of the Dances of Universal Peace, we will awaken our minds, bodies, hearts and souls to greater aliveness, joy and connection. Around this time of the celtic festival of Imbolc, we prepare to move out of the darkness of Winter and look forward to the first subtle awakenings of Spring, both externally and within our own being.
The Dances of Universal Peace are inspired by the wisdom and sacred chants and mantras of the spiritual traditions of humankind. This is joyful body prayer, linking the individual with the deeper aspects of their being bringing joy and inner peace. Together we create an embodied mandala of movement, breath and sound which has the power to touch and change lives. This practice is simple and guided and accessible to most people of all ages, if you are unsure please get in touch.
For Christina Gulzar, certified Dance Leader and Mentor, sharing these Dances is one of the greatest joys of her life!
