Private View - The Fronteer Open 2025

Fronteer Gallery is delighted to present the private view of The Fronteer Open 2025, a group exhibition featuring over 80 artists.

Established in 2017, the Fronteer Open not only celebrates the best of the UK art scene, but aims to bring a meaningful exhibition and art prize to Sheffield. 2 prizes are on offer; a 'People's Choice' prize decided by the public, and a 'Judge's Choice' prize decided by a panel. This year the panel consist of Fronteer's own Michael Borkowsky and Sharon Borkowsky, alongside artist and curator Ruth Heaton. The winners of both prizes are awarded an exhibition and an Artist Level subscription to CuratorSpace, who generously sponsor the show.

This Private View offers a chance to see the exhibition for the first time, meet some of the artists involved and enjoy a drink or two; all for free. You'll also get the chance to vote for your favourite work. Hope to see you there!

Fronteer Gallery is an artist led gallery run by Sheffield based artists Michael Borkowsky and Sharon Borkowsky. Please be advised that Fronteer Gallery is up a few flights of stairs and unfortunately has no disabled access.
