The morning session is an opportunity to spend time in classrooms to see how our curriculum works, and also the chance to speak to children, staff and members of the leadership team.
If you’d like to make a day of it, we can offer an add-on curriculum workshop that will uncover the thinking behind our curriculum model. This afternoon session is an opportunity to explore how immersive concept-based learning, authentic outcomes and incredible experiences enable young people to develop their knowledge and skills whilst growing into passionate, empowered, independent and creative thinkers. All delegates attending the afternoon workshop will receive a copy of Jonathan Lear's latest best selling book 'The Monkey-Proof Box: Curriculum design for building knowledge, developing creative thinking and promoting independence', plus sample curriculum resources.
This event is aimed at teachers, school leaders and anyone with an interest in curriculum design and development.

Do I need to bring ID with me to the event?
Yes. As you will have access to children, you will be required to show photo ID on arrival at school. You will also be asked to confirm that you have an enhanced DBS.

Is there parking at the school?
There is parking on the roads around the school, but please be aware that this can be busy from 8.30am - 8.45am as parent's drop their children at school.
What time should I arrive?
The event starts a 9:00am. Tea and coffee will be available from 8:30am.

What's the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we can't refund places but we may be able to transfer the booking to a future event. If you're unable to attend, please contact the school as soon as possible and we'll see what we can do.
