This is my chance to give away the things I want people to have, plus a chance to say hi and maybe bye. It will be catered, no alcohol allowed I'm afraid but there may be non alcoholic beer/wine. There is parking, limited amount I admit but over 20 spaces.
This is a place of celebration, because I'm not having a traditional funeral. I want you to come in halloween costumes, or whatever you fancy! I want you to celebrate with me! Have fun, make memories and take stuff with you to enjoy NOW! I will be releasing some of my magic(k)al stuff too at this event and I hope you will use whatever you take. I don't expect you to bring anything, but take, yes, help me give you gifts to pass on.
We'll be starting at 12 noon, going through to about 4.30pm, anyone who wants to help tear down and clean up would be appreciated. Even the decorations are up for grabs too! There may be another one in March but that depends on the cancer growth. Let me know if you want to come along, as it's a drop in and party all afternoon, there will be fud, hopefully music, tea, and conversation (not child friendly so that's a heads up ;-) )
So details, 12 til 5pm at the Sharrow Community Centre, the one the Food Works cafe is in. The room holds around 60 folks, so if you want to drop in for an hour then go, that's fine by me. Just be great to see you and celebrate with you x
