Festivals in Sheffield

Sheffield has a friendly spirit along with a thriving cultural scene. There are many events such as concerts, art galleries, theatre shows, food festivals and music festivals in Sheffield. This makes the city of Sheffield very happening and makes tourists visit the city all over the year. Climbing Works International Festival is one such unique festival where people get to practice and perform their climbing skills alongside some of the best climbers in the world. This festival spans over 2 days which let the people push their climbing skills to the limit and has various round to complete and reach the finals. Everyone is welcome to this festival and is a must-attend event for those who love adventure and sports. Sheffield Adventure Film Festival is a film festival that takes place annually which has a perfect blend of adventure sports and films. There are a lot of things people can do in this festival from watching a film while sharing a beer with some of the renowned adventure sports athletes and filmmakers to take part in some TD talks and get inspired or take part in some outdoor activities.


Sheffield Music Festival

Apart from some cultural festivals, Sheffield also hosts some of the most famous music festivals all over the year. Tramlines is one of the biggest music festivals in Sheffield. Over a period of three days people from all around the world to come to celebrate music where more than 50 artists from various genres come to perform. People can also experience comedy, a pop-up cinema, a family-oriented area and foods and drinks like people have never seen before. Music in Gardens which started as a small jazz concert but over the years it gained popularity and now has become popular among the citizens as a huge music festival in Sheffield. In these four evenings of music, some of the best artists from around the world come to perform.


Food and Drinks Festival in Sheffield

People who love food aren't left out in the series of events to take place in Sheffield. There are numerous events which cater to people who love food. Sheffield Beer Week is a festival which celebrates brewing and crafting of beer over a week. Many bars, pubs, and restaurants collaborate with each other to give the people a completely new experience to remember. Another event that celebrates food is the Sheffield Food Festival where stalls are set up around the city center so that people can enjoy the local dishes and cuisines all at once.
