Attercliffe Stupid Club should never have been forgotten. Carmel Page has been researching the origins of this ancient Sheffield Club and is relaunching it in an age when political activism has never been more pertinent.

This funny show is full of ethical conundrums and a Giant Teddy Bear Fight with the audience.

Carmel Page, renown storyteller and Story Forge team member, will be taking this show to Edinburgh Festival Fringe but it feels wrong to premiere this very Sheffield story in another city. Hear it first at Story Forge in Sheffield.

The show will be followed by the opportunity to give feedback to Carmel as she would really value the opinion of an audience.

The second half of the evening will be an Open Mic Night - the stupider the stories the better. Stories should be rehearsed and up to ten minutes long. Book a slot to tell when you arrive. If you prefer just to listen you are also very welcome because our tellers love to have an audience.
