Sharon used to have Type 2 diabetes and turned her life around by losing 10 stone and self funding her own studies to graduate as a doctor of philosophy (PhD) where she studied the research and spoke with many people about Type 2 and other chronic cpnditions. Sharon was head-hunted by Sport England for a 3-year Exercise Referral project in Rotherham.
