ALTAR SERVERS: Any child 8 yrs or older who has received the sacrament of communion can be trained as an altar server or can carry the cross or take up collection or read or bring the gifts at offertory. Training will be provided to all those eager to help! ALL CHILDREN ARE INVITED AND WELCOMED! Every Sunday, we host catechism between 10:15 to 11:15am. Please bring a baptism certificate for your child if we don't have it on file yet! This is information to be completed at registration: Dear parents and children, As we prepare the journey towards receiving the holy sacraments (Penitential service, First Communion for children 6 yrs old and over-grade 1+) and (Confirmation for those 12-13 yrs old and older or grade 6-7) in the Catholic church, we want to remind parents that this will require your involvement and participation in order to prepare your children to receive the holy sacraments with the help of Fr. Angus. Children will need to attend the planned sessions accompanied by at least one of the parents. Both parents and children will be required to do some “at home preparations” in between sessions. Children in the program are invited at 10.15am Sunday mornings! If there is a change in the schedule you will be informed! Religious education sessions are a good opportunity to ensure parents are aware and understand the commitment needed and hopefully, see that this is a modern approach which enables 'parent to child' quality time for families. We hope that a few volunteers will agree to help Monique and Theresa and Jinalyn or Angel or Sharon and to help Fr. Angus in this process.
